On Sunday morning the Minister of Education, Chris Hipkins, announced the release of the discussion document on the future of NCEA, on national television. This opened the public consultation phase of the NCEA Review that runs through to 16 September 2018. This afternoon there will be a follow up launch at Tawa College with the chair of the Ministerial Advisory Group, Jeremy Baker, discussing the proposed Big Opportunities in more detail. It’s now up to education professionals to drive discussion on the future of NCEA.
