Regional Support 

NZASE is offering the following 2025 regional support: 

• Laboratory Safety Standards subscription: review the standards ahead of practical work. You will need a one-off login to get in – email NZASE for this.
• Double Helix subscription: a shared regional subscription to support literacy in science
• Transport to PLD: reasonable transport costs will be covered to attend NZASE PLD for remote or sole charge teachers. Apply in advance. 
• SciCon grants: PPTA grants are available but we can help with some additional top-up funding for five  NZASE members. Sole charge teachers and those from the regions will be prioritised. Apply in advance.
• Kai subsidy for regional meetings: everyone likes a free biscuit! Apply in advance.
• Science Badges: We’ll cover the cost of a class set of Science Badges for 10 schools per term. (Schools must be NZASE members for this)
