Dr. Craig Rofe is a physicist and educator whose career bridges scientific research and Māori educational advancement. After earning a PhD in physics from Massey University, he conducted postdoctoral research in medical physics at the University of California and worked as a software engineer in Silicon Valley. Transitioning into education, Dr. Rofe has taught physics and science at various levels and served as a senior advisor in Māori educational achievement. His research focuses on integrating Mātauranga Māori with science education, aiming to enhance cultural connections and improve outcomes for Māori students.
